Keystone Resort

Keystone is a resort that represents fun, excellent skiing, and a variety of new adventures for everyone who visits. With long runs, very consistent snow, and plenty of après ski activity in its villages, this high-altitude resort is a welcome for both families and friends alike.

Keystone Mountain

Located approximately 90 miles from the Denver airport and 100 miles from Colorado Springs (COS), Keystone Resort offers 1,900 acres of awesome terrain over three unique mountains. Dercum is home to the largest night skiing area and longest green run in Colorado, and provides a wide variety of terrain for all levels. North Peak is packed full of moguls and steeps for the intermediate to advanced skiers. And the 81% advanced terrain of The Outback will challenge even the experts with its wide-open bowls, glade runs, and chutes.

Activities In Keystone

In the winter, the action revolves around Keystone's four world-class ski mountains - Outback, Keystone Mountain, North Peak and Durcum Mountain - as well as a state-of-the-art terrain park and one of Colorado's premier lighted night-skiing areas. With more than 2,000 acres of terrain and hundreds of trails, Keystone offers challenges for skiers and riders of every ability. Nestled in the center of the resort, the nation's largest groomed outdoor skating pond offers ice-skating and hockey in the winter, along with paddle boats and canoeing in the summer.

When the snow melts, the lifts keep running, providing visitors access to the same extensive trail system for hiking, mountain biking and guided nature walks. Keystone Ranch, the resort's top rated par-72 golf course, boasts both stunning views and an award-winning design by Robert Trent Jones, Jr. The summer also offers rafting, kayaking and fishing enthusiasts numerous gold medal rivers and high-mountain lakes within easy reach of the resort.

Keystone offers plenty of wintertime fun for non-skiers, from snowmobiling and horse-drawn sleigh rides, to hot air ballooning and dog-sledding. But make no mistake: this is a skiing and snowboarding kind of resort. Cross-country enthusiasts can do their thing at the resort's Nordic Center, but the main attraction here is Keystone's ski area, which offers the biggest lighted terrain area for night skiing in the state. One lift ticket gives Keystone skiers access to four mountains, encompassing 2,227 acres of terrain serviced by 19 lifts. Three mountains are accessible from the River Run Village Base area. The fourth, Arapahoe Basin, is a 10 minute shuttle ride up Loveland Pass. Nearby, the White River National Forest and Arapahoe National Forest are ripe for back-country skiing, snowshoeing, snowmobiling and hut trips.
